Job Description
TruVet Specialty & Emergency Hospital is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Chief of Internal Medicine to lead and grow our Internal Medicine department in Petaluma, California. The Chief of Internal Medicine will lead the department in delivering exceptional, evidence-based patient care while fostering mentorship, collaboration, and clinical advancement. This role includes maintaining an active caseload, developing protocols and standards, supporting interdisciplinary case management, and partnering with hospital leadership on strategic growth.
Competitive Compensation: Base salary ranges from $250,000 to $300,000, plus production.

Qualifications
Board-certified or residency-trained veterinary internist. Strong clinical expertise in small animal internal medicine. Leadership experience required. Must be eligible to practice in California.
