TruVet's Wellness Care services focus on preventive medicine, early detection, and long-term health management for dogs and cats. Regular wellness visits allow us to monitor your pet's overall health, identify concerns early, and build a proactive care plan tailored to their age, lifestyle, and medical history.

Wellness Services Commonly Provided
Wellness services are offered to patients who do not have a primary care provider and are not currently receiving treatment from another local facility. This service is perfect for newly adopted pets or those who are new to Sonoma County.
Our wellness care services may include:
- Comprehensive physical examinations
- Core and lifestyle-based vaccinations
- Preventive laboratory screening
- Parasite testing and prevention (fleas, ticks, heartworm, intestinal parasites)
- Nutritional counseling
- Weight management support
- Senior pet screening and monitoring
- Health consultations and ongoing care planning
Wellness Service Hours: Monday–Thursday 8am – 5pm.
Preventive care allows us to detect medical concerns early, often before symptoms become severe or costly to treat.

Dr. Emily Nomann grew up in sunny Southern California and moved north to attend the University of California, Davis, where she completed both her undergraduate studies and veterinary education.
