Job Description
TruVet Specialty & Emergency Hospital is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Chief of Surgery to lead and elevate our Surgery department in Petaluma, California. The Chief of Surgery provides strategic and clinical leadership overseeing soft tissue, orthopedic, oncologic, and minimally invasive procedures, while maintaining an active surgical caseload, developing protocols, mentoring surgical staff, and partnering with hospital leadership on operational excellence.
Competitive Compensation: Base salary ranges from $250,000 to $300,000, plus production.

Qualifications
Board-certified or residency-trained veterinary surgeon (ACVS or equivalent). Advanced clinical expertise in soft tissue, orthopedic, oncologic, and minimally invasive procedures. Leadership experience required. Must be eligible to practice in California.
