Hi, my name is Angela, and I am a Client Services Representative at TruVet. I have always had a passion for animal care, and being able to work with and around animals every day brings me so much joy.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy crocheting, taking nature walks, and finding any excuse to enjoy fresh air and sunshine. At home I share my life with Mowgli my brown tabby, Josie my tortie, Guy my sleek black cat, Gungi my brindle pittie mix, and Chewy my spirited mixed-breed pup.
Favorite Part of My Job
I have always had a passion for animal care. The most inspiring part of working at TruVet is being able to aid the team in helping clients and their pets. It brings me so much joy to work with and around animals every day — and even when I am tired, I know a coworker will make me smile.
Why I Chose This Profession
From my very first experience assisting in a general practice clinic in high school, I knew this was the field for me. Animals cannot advocate for themselves, and being part of a team that does that for them — with compassion and expertise — is something I find deeply meaningful.
Education
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and am Fear Free Certified. I have also participated in disaster response volunteer work, lending a hand when animals and their families needed it most.
Professional Background
My background spans general practice, large animal care, shelter medicine, and disaster response volunteering — giving me a broad and compassionate foundation for supporting pets and their families at the front desk.
Work History
My journey in veterinary care began in high school, assisting in a general practice clinic. From there, I worked hands-on with large animals for four years and spent three years in shelter medicine, care, and fostering. I joined TruVet as a Client Service Representative in November 2024.
