Hi, my name is Destiny, and I am a Client Services Representative at TruVet. I joined the team in August 2024 and love being part of a family-like environment where everyone is united by a shared mission to help every pet and person who walks through our doors.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, I am passionate about arts and crafts, love cruising in my 5.0 Mustang, and find peace in nature — especially on a hike with a stunning view. I also enjoy gaming on my PC, with Call of Duty and Valorant among my favourites. At home I share my life with Baby, Benji, Bentley, Juno, and Loki — my dogs, cat, and Green Cheeked Conure.
Favorite Part of My Job
What inspires me most about working at TruVet is the family-like bond I feel with my teammates and the shared mission of helping every pet and person who comes through our doors. I am grateful to be part of a team that supports one another and truly cares.
Why I Chose This Profession
I have always had a soft spot for animals — all kinds, even the ones others might shy away from. When the opportunity to join TruVet came along, it felt like a perfect way to combine my love of people and animals in a place that truly makes a difference.
Professional Background
My background in hospitality and customer service gave me a strong foundation for delivering warm, efficient care at the front desk. I hit the ground running when I joined TruVet and have loved every moment of learning and growing in this role.
Work History
Before joining TruVet, I worked in restaurant management and as a Broista at Dutch Bros — experience that taught me how to thrive in fast-paced environments and connect with people from all walks of life. TruVet is my first role in veterinary medicine.
