Client Services Representative

Hi, my name is Sydney, and I am a Client Services Representative at TruVet. I joined the team in May 2023 and love being part of an environment where I can learn, contribute, and grow every single day.

Personal Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work and studies, I love hiking, heading to the beach, attending concerts, and exploring nature. At home I am the proud pet parent of two cats: Shasta, a tabby and tortie mix, and Cosie, a white kitty with tabby spots.

Favorite Part of My Job

The most inspiring part of my job is being able to observe, experience, and learn from the talented team around me, while contributing to keeping the hospital running smoothly so every animal can be treated in a clean and organised environment.

Why I Chose This Profession

I have always been passionate about animals and science, and TruVet gave me the perfect environment to explore that passion while working towards my long-term goal of a career in veterinary medicine.

Education

I graduated from San Marin High School in 2020 and went on to earn two Associate's degrees in Spanish and Biology from SRJC. I am currently pursuing a degree in Molecular and Environmental Biology at UC Berkeley, with a passion for veterinary medicine and animal sciences. I also completed a summer internship at UC Davis' Bodega Marine Lab in 2023.

Professional Background

My role at TruVet has given me the opportunity to observe and learn from a talented team of technicians and doctors every day. I take great pride in contributing to a clean, organised hospital environment that supports the very best patient care.

Work History

Before joining TruVet, I spent four years in the food service and restaurant industry, gaining experience in fast-paced, client-facing environments. Joining TruVet marked an exciting new chapter in my journey towards a career in veterinary medicine.
