Hi, my name is Jenna, and I am one of TruVet's original team members — proud to have been here from the very beginning and to have grown into the Inventory Manager role over the years.

Personal Hobbies and Interests

I played soccer for 18 years and dabbled in MMA and Aikido. These days, I balance work and family life with my favourite hobbies: video games and taking well-earned naps. I have been married to my husband for 9 years and we are raising our joyful 1-year-old son together. We also share our home with two brother cats, Philly and Terry.

Favorite Part of My Job

One of my favourite things about this field is working alongside people who share the same goal: helping animals feel better. The love our team has for pets — whether they are ours or not — is incredible. From doctors to techs to CSRs to kennel staff, the passion here is contagious.

Why I Chose This Profession

Veterinary medicine is full of ups and downs — you will laugh, cry, feel frustration, and pride, sometimes all in the same shift. But the key is to embrace every moment and let the good ones fuel you. I chose this profession because I wanted to be part of something truly meaningful, and I found exactly that at TruVet.

I am a proud graduate of the SRJC Veterinary Technician Programme.

Professional Background

My experience covers a broad range of veterinary settings including emergency, surgery, and internal medicine. I regularly assist Dr. Kruger with Internal Medicine cases, manage DEA compliance, oversee inventory, and step in on the emergency floor when needed. I am a driving force of knowledge and support across the hospital.

Work History

With nearly a decade of experience in veterinary medicine, my career has spanned inpatient and emergency care, surgery, and internal medicine. Before entering the veterinary field, I worked in the hospitality industry, which helped me develop the strong communication skills and people-first mindset I bring to every client and team interaction. I have been with TruVet from the very beginning, growing from a skilled veterinary assistant into my current role managing inventory and DEA compliance.
