Registered Veterinary Technician

Hi, my name is Nora, and I am a Registered Veterinary Technician at TruVet. I have been proud to serve the veterinary community since 2015 and love making a difference in the lives of animals and their pet parents every day.

Personal Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work, I am an outdoor adventure enthusiast — yoga, swimming, kayaking, hiking, and camping are all part of my world. I treasure family holidays and fun outings with friends. At home I enjoy quality time with my husband and our two cats, Layla and Phillip.

Favorite Part of My Job

The best part of my job is making a difference in the lives of animals and their pet parents. I love seeing my patients leave happier and healthier than when they arrived. We are a crew of like-minded, compassionate people working together to make a difference — and that means everything to me.

Why I Chose This Profession

I have always been drawn to caring for animals and supporting the people who love them. Veterinary medicine is a field where every single day presents the opportunity to truly help — and that never gets old.

Education

I earned my Associate's degree in Natural Sciences in 2016, received my veterinary technician certification from SRJC in 2018, and became a licenced RVT in 2019. I am a proud REVTA member and have attended the VMX conference regularly since 2022.

Professional Background

My background spans general practice and emergency veterinary care, giving me a broad and well-rounded clinical foundation. I bring a calm, experienced presence to high-pressure situations and am committed to the highest standards of patient care.

Work History

I spent nearly a decade in general practice before stepping into the fast-paced world of emergency veterinary care in 2024. I am originally from Santa Rosa, and my journey in veterinary medicine has been nothing short of inspiring.
